# Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Green Beans

## Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) Brussels sprouts, trimmed & halved
- 8 oz (225 g) fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2½ Tbsp (37 ml) olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) lemon juice
- Zest of ½ lemon
## Instructions
1. Preheat oven to ==425°F (220°C)==.
2. Toss Brussels sprouts and green beans with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
3. Spread evenly on a parchment-lined sheet pan.
4. Roast **30–35 minutes**, stirring halfway, until sprouts are browned and beans lightly blistered.
5. Finish with lemon juice and zest before serving.
#### Notes
- The seasoning is intentionally savory to complement sweet carrots + BBQ pork.
