# Honey-Roasted Carrots

## Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) carrots, peeled & cut into equal pieces
- 2 Tbsp (30 ml) olive oil
- 2 Tbsp (30 ml) honey 👀
- 1 Tbsp (15 ml) butter, melted
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp smoked paprika (echoes BBQ pork)
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Optional: 1 tsp apple cider vinegar (balances sweetness)
## Instructions
1. Preheat oven to ==425°F (220°C)==.
2. In a bowl, whisk olive oil, honey 👀, melted butter, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder.
3. Toss carrots to coat evenly.
4. Spread on a parchment-lined sheet pan.
5. Roast **30–35 minutes**, flipping halfway, until caramelized and tender.
6. Drizzle with a splash of apple cider vinegar if desired.
#### Notes
- The carrots are the only sweet component—kept deliberate so they complement rich, smoky pulled pork without overwhelming the plate.
- Pan glaze 👀 can be reserved to drizzle lightly.
