Primary Categories: [[01 - Recipes]] Secondary Categories: [[02 - Entrees]] Tags and Links: #recipe { Add additional relevant tags and links } ## Ingredients - Some amount of chicken, 2 lbs? - 120g Yogurt - 1 tbsp Grated Garlic - Grated Onion 1 - 1 tsp Ginger Powder - 1 tsp Black Pepper - 1 tsp Coriander Powder - 1 tsp Cumin - 1 tsp Red Chili Powder - 1 tsp Paprika - 1 tsp Turmeric Powder - 2 tbsp Olive Oil - 1 tsp Salt - Reserve, 2 tbsp Lemon Juice **Shawarma Sauce** - 2 tbsp Sesame Seed - 1 tbsp Vinegar - 1 tbsp grated garlic - 1 tbsp Lemon Juice - 1 tsp Thyme - 1 tsp Black Pepper - 1/2 tsp Salt - 5 tbsp Mayonnaise **Shawarma Ingredients** - Tortilla (or Pita) - onions, thinly sliced - tomatoes, thinly sliced - cabbage, thinly sliced ## Directions 1. Slice up chicken 2. Combine Yogurt and Seasonings, mix well 3. Add chicken to spice bowl, mix to cover 4. Add Lemon Juice 5. Cover and marinate for 1 hr 6. Add Shawarma Sauce ingredients to food processor, blend it 7. Cook chicken over medium-high heat 8. Spread shawarma sauce over tortilla, make a bed of your ingredients, then roll the tortilla like a burrito 9. Butter the pan, place the shawarma on the pan to toast and seal. 2-3mins on each side.
